Yup. As I said on the rumours thread, not sure where this leaves Frazer Richardson, who I thought was quality last season

No Fixed Abode Paddy Kenny completes his move from QPR to Leeds.

I wonder if there's a record for how many times a manager has signed the same player? Warnock absolutely bums the fat git.

Brian Clough took two players with him everywhere - give me a minute and I'll look them up

John McGovern was with him at Hartlepool, Derby, Leeds and Forest
John O'Hare at Derby, Leeds and Forest

Apparently Fenway SpoROFLts Group’s website claimed earlier today that Liverpool had signed Clint Dempsey – was not confirmed by LFC and the story has subsequently been taken down by Fenway after Fulham denied it.

Very sad - without injury he'd have been an England ever-present imho.

+1 genuinely think he was the best English CB of the last few years, shame about he was just so injury prone.

Surely being fit to play is part of being a good footballer? It's like saying Titus Bramble could have been a gr8 centre back if he wasn't so mistake prone.

Not at all. King's class was pretty evident almost every time he played - even when that was the only football he was getting as his problems prevented him from training properly.

Yeah so he was a player who had all the attributes to play at the very top apart from being fit, you wouldn't say someone was unlucky because they were slow or weak,

He was 'fit' - when his body allowed him to, he trained as hard as his team-mates, and played a full game like his team-mates.

You can't equate his body breaking down with being shit, that's ridiculous.

I'm not saying he was shit, just that being fit to play 2 games a week or 30+ games a season is an attribute like anything else and not having it isn't 'unlucky'. You wouldn't say Gareth Barry could have been an England great if he wasn't so unlucky with being slower than a snail.

Not sure why you can't see the difference between someone's knee exploding through genetic defect/bad tackle/sheer bad luck, and having areas of your game for improvement.

Being fit to play isn't an attribute like speed or passing ability.
