Anton Zingarevich plans to buy Lechia

Lechia Gdansk may have found a new owner, Anton Zingarevich, the son of a Russian multimillionaire. Zingarevich has only recently bought Reading FC in England and has plans to turn it into a major Premier League player, but it seems he is also interested in buying Lechia, if the price is right.

Would rather he concentrated on making us Champions of Europe before he sets his eyes onto another project.

Hopefully, we won't become the Hearts of Premier League...

It looks like this is still our project. After last changes in home office policy become mostly impossible to obtain work permit for young talented players. Poland is the EU member with shortest time to gain citizenship (3 years only). The young Brazilian lad of 18 years old can gain valid EU passport and gain first team experience same time.

Similar idea to that of the watford owners model?

Own multiple clubs round europe which act as feeder clubs to the main club.

So basically he's an unhinged megalomaniac who, like the most devious villains, has only shown his true colours after earning the trust of thousands?

TypicaLOL

There are UEFA rules against multiple ownership of clubs - because of potential conflict of interest in case the two clubs meet in UEFA competitions.

Have to say that I really like this....as long as RFC is the TOP club receiving the pipeline.

Awesome if it works. 8)

Less concerned about him taking over the team with the s**t flag and more about the other headline in that media powerhouse that is the 'New Poland Express' : -

Drowning Stats Set To Rise... wtf...

Is there some new found fad in Polska of parents drowning their kids in brown sacks a la farmers with kittens... or maybe because the stats are 'SET' to rise... It has not started yet, but will in 2 months once the craze gets in full swing... Children of Polska... Stay away from Rivers / Take Showers - not baths.. and if mum or dad suggest a day at the Gdansk Shipyards, run like hell!!

When is he buying the main club then?

If we become a feeder club that could be a problem for us.

Football fans are all one and the same, If we don't want to see our club become a feeder club then we shouldn't be happy with another club being turned into our feeder club.

If one day he aspires to buy Zenit.

Until then I'm fairly relaxed.........
