Definitely due to injury. Official site said he won't be playing any games in Portugal. If he doesn't start in the friendlies back in the UK then maybe something to think about.

Elmo's Park Does anyone think the club hold Anderson in higher regard?

Everybody at the club holds him in higher regard than you, because they can all spell his name.

Caskeys Lovechild Federici is a good goal keeper....no doubt about that - but last season he was made to look much better than he is by virtue of a water tight defence - in the same way as Hahnemann was made to look like an outstanding goalkeeper by a team which defended from the front and rarely let anyone in for a chance to score. This was mainly shown up when the Hahnemann moved on, and turned out to not be quite as good as expected.

This is obvious rubbish. Hahnemann was fantastic. We would have been relegated long before the last day of the season if not for him, our defence was rubbish that year and our midfield didn't protect the defence.

At Wolves, he completely showed up Basso and Hennessey, who Bristol City and Wolves fans thought were the best goalkeepers in the league, and cemented the first team jersey once he had a chance. Then he got old and lost his fantastic leap.

I think that undermines your ability to judge goalkeepers.

My dad claimed this weeks ago and I laughed in his face. Well, not literally, that's a bit harsh, but I told him was a raging idiot. I'm not gonna bother with sources because I'm his son and I still doubt their integrity, but hearing it from somewhere else makes me nervous. Then again, I'm a nervous person generally.

To the car park!

cant see it, especially with us trying to get Anderson out on loan. if Feds was going surely we would want Anderson to stay in the 25. does anyone know how long he has got left on his contract?

Andersen's loan is supposed to depend on Taylor coming in. Taylor turned down a new deal at Man City because he wants first team football. Taylor coming here has always raised a few eyebrows, but if we were to lose Federici, then it would make that bit more sense.

good point i forgot about Taylor. have not seen enough of him to judge if he would be a good number one. i just think that if feds was leaving Brian would of been keen to get him out before Portugal and get a replacement in too.
