Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle is set to decide on Wednesday whether to offer trialist Kalifa Cisse a contract at the Reebok Stadium.
The former Reading and Bristol City defensive midfielder has played 90 minutes over Bolton's first two pre-season friendlies.
And Coyle is prepared to offer Mali international Cisse, who is reportedly wanted by Premier League new-boys Reading, a final chance to impress against Falkirk on Wednesday.
He told The Bolton News: "Kalifa has been a good player, but the judgement will be, 'is he any better than the ones we have got?'.
"Coming into the Falkirk game, I'll talk with him and tell him exactly what my thoughts are, where he fits in or where he doesn't.
"But right now, I think we'll take the opportunity of another couple of training sessions and the Falkirk game before we decide."

Bolton haven't offered him a contract.
