That's including January transfer windows though, so there's nothing to say we won't spend a few bob then.

Also worth noting that the ones that stayed up signed a lot less players than those who went down

Transfer fees are a poor indicator, though. it's total wage bill that is a much more significant indicator of how well a team will do - and even more so when you have players arriving out of contract and so signing for next to nothing.

For example, the transfer fee on The Pog doesn't figure on "transfer spending" but his wage bill (and I've heard 70k a week mentioned from Fulham, who were outbid by us) certainly does.

Pretty sure Seol and Sodje were the only 2 we brought in before the season started. The we brought in DLC, Mate and Bikey before the summer window shut and then in January we got Dubes, Halford and Bennett.
