TheSiege Don't give up GSY_Royal, 20years of study may make you a Comprehensive School drop-out. I have no problem with imbeciles until they start doing what you are currently doing. Would it not be better to keep quiet and therefore appear to have intelligence. Or am I speaking to the untrainable?

It's genuinely very strenuous to read your posts, not because of any lack of intellect on my part, but solely because you spew so much utter shite.

Don't read them. There is probably a way of putting your own posts all together and re-reading them every day. Then you will truly know what utter shite is! On the other hand, you could change the habit of a lifetime and actually post something that the rest of us find interesting - or provoking! It's a different but worthwhile way to go although you will have to put up with a few complete arseh*les - as I do!

Back to Heskey, I'm going to take your ridiculing his talent, experience and physical prowess as a joke, if we signed him I'm certain he would be everyones favorite player and would sh1t all over Ronaldo

TheSiege You said it - Back to Heskey. Until you posted that I had not realised that you were actually a comedian. My apologies if I have attacked your previous posts - which I thought were posted in truth rather than for entertainment. Heskey, in his prime (20 years ago), was the example that knowledgable coaches used to show new recruits how to abysmally fail at being a striker. He was a byword for why English teams failed - much as previous English managers could not understand that Lampard and Gerrard played the same position and could not be on the field together. Recently, Heskey and his zimmer frame have failed to score goals at a number of clubs and, you're right, it is hugely amusing to link him with a club like RFC who actually need the goals that he has never provided to any club that has paid his wages as a striker! He He! You Humourist!

Look I'm not one to start internet fights but it really seems like almost every thread now a days ends up becoming a pissing contest with you being One of the main culprits. I don't know you personally but you do come off as a cnut on here a lot. Can you not just resist the urge to make every thread about you for the good of the rest of us

Are you joking? He isn't meant to score goals, that's not why managers have been playing him for nearly 800 games. In 2007 when he partnered Owen upfront for England, Owen all of a sudden got his form back and started banging the goals in while Heskey who was occupying two or three defenders at a time was allowing him as much space as he needed. Ask anybody who ever played with him I'm sure he would be their preferred strike partner.

Heskey is a great player, not a great goalscorer. But he turns his strike partners into great goal scorers

I'm sorry, how do facts about Heskey make a response about me - or make me a cnut! People on this thread are actually suggesting that serial failure Heskey (in his prime) should come to RFC now that he is close to his pension. I am a fan and find gibberish like this bizarre. If any knowledgable person thinks that Heskey should be one of RFC's 25-man squad - speak out.

While I agree that Heskey is not the player for us now or in the future. In his prime he was not a serial failure, he performed a role which enabled players around him to perform better.

I wasn't really talking about just this thread it seems where ever I go on here its you having an argument with someone. Its one thing to have differing opinions to someone but the manner in which you (I know its not just you but you do seemed to be involved very often) put across your point is so derogatory that it more or less is always going to move on from the original point into insulting people.

Are you not tired of it? I'm not suggesting you start getting chummy with everyone but does it have to follow the same path every time?

Once its clear you are not going to change someone's mind what is the point of repeating the same argument over and over again

Heskey is one of the best support strikers ever, what does it matter his current form shouldnt change his part. Bobby Charlton probably couldnt play very well this season, doesnt make him a shite footballer.

TheSiege If you are so blindingly ignorant of reality - particularly football reality, why on earth are you on this site?

Its more this sort of thing that I was talking about. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to single you out because you are far from the only person that ends there opinions like this but even if what you are saying is correct I can't stand people who present their opinion as fact. What you think is 'football reality' clearly many many England fans disagree with. Heskey has becoming a running joke in recent times but I'm sure the majority of England supporters appreciate what he has done and understand that in football reality his role in a team is much more than to score the goals.

In terms of you looking out for newer members while I joined in January and only began posting recently (around the same time as you, unless I'm reading your info wrong) I have been following HNA for quite a while and am very well aware of etiquette on here. You can always choose to rise above it

The failures of previous England Managers is shown in our resullts - including their choices of players! Football has become an 11-man game where every one of those 11 has to fulfill his remit. Heskey is a forward and therefore lives on his goal ratio. All of us understand the role of a no. 10 who lurks just behind the forwards and makes life difficult for the centre-backs but, Heskey is not a no. 10. In any age of football, Heskey's participation in a team that works - does not exist! Heskey should have England caps - 0. He should have been playing for MK Dons or someone. HE IS THE ANTITHESIS OF PROFESSIONAL SKILLED FOOTBALL! What more needs to be said?

Well clearly I am not going to convince you and you certainly haven't convinced me so this is where I stop replying. The difference is I'm not going to call you a fcukwit

Can you not make your point without trying to insult me?

Why do you keep bringing up the fact that he doesn't score enough goals? I don't know how many times I have to explain to you that Heskey isn't in the team to score goals, or if you will ever grasp that.
Im not going to keep arguing the point, if you cant see beyond his lack of goals then you clearly have no understanding of the game.

So, you honestly think that Heskey can be compared favourably to the likes of Dennis Bergkamp?

TheSiege Sorry to bore you all but I've heard that WHUFC are considering him. He has turned down a derisory offer and is still looking for a total f*ckwit to employ him. Stand up the biggest f*ckwit of all - Fat Sam. He has less than 30 strikers currently and therefore needs a few more. Watch this space!.i

So where is that word that you claim isn't even in your vocab?

You are either a WUM, or brain dead. Either way you really are not worth taking note of. Onto the 'Ignore' list you go.

I think they play different roles, support strikers never seem to get the credit they deserve. Noel Hunt is a good example, Doyle and Long both hit top form playing alongside him.

Heskey is the sort of player that played alongside a good finisher and with a bit of confidence can strike up a great partnership to which he contributes massively yet doesnt get any recognition for it. Thankfully the managers see this and have continued playing him.

TheSeige, you are a first class pillock. Then man doesnt need to score every game. He's like a bull who charges through defences and then sets up his striking partner

Nope, Bergkamp was a support striker too.

Over his career Heskey has played for Leicester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Wigan, and Aston Villa. Hardly the C.V. of 'one of the greatest ever'.

I like Heskey. He isn't a goal scorer, but can be used pretty well to win goals for others. Ideally, you'd like more goals in his locker but whoever plays beside him is going to get goals. Ask Owen who scored more with Heskey than he did with anyone else.

That said, I'd rather we buy growing talent than diminishing.

Signed LightwaterRoyal, call me a dick-head, oxf*rd tit-sock if you must but I think Emile William Ivanhoe Heskey gets a lot of undeserved abuse.

Nice to see someone nail their stupidity to the mast. Will Heskey get 20 goals this season for RFC? Yes or No? If NO , shut up and p*ss off!

How many times do I have to tell you that Heskey isn't in the team to score goals, you inbred little scrotum.
