TheSiegepeterroyal76 No chance!
Can you elucidate? Is he too expensive? Does he have a guilty secret? If they want to get rid of him and he wants to go, you would be surprsied at the deals that might be done!

TheSiege You are showing your negativity! RFC is an upcoming club with billianaire backing and a plan to not only stay in the Prem - but climb the ladder to Europe. In what way is Simon Kjaer too good for us if no-one else is prepared to put in a bid?

Becuase he's too expensive and we have no need for him?
Presumably, if Messi suddenly decided that he might like to play for RFC, he would also be too expensive and we would have NO NEED OF HIM? Stop your pathetic negativity. RFC deserve to be up with the top clubs - we should be thinking like that!

TheSiege Highly regarded 23-year-old centre back, seemingly unwanted by his club due to a fallout with the Manager. No-one has yet made an offer and speculation is that he may have to stay at Wolfsburg despite neither him nor them wanting that. Do not know the price but Huddersfield would like an RFC centre back and, apparently, Church on loan. Could we put money into an up-and-coming CB (Kjaer) and do a deal for Rhodes - with 2 players going in the opposite direction? Do not know the finances but Anton has just made clear his vision for the future and I would not think that these deals were not impossible.

I think you would probably by looking at a bill in excess of £15M plus wages and the the two RFC players if this went ahead. Kjaer was talked about in awe inspiring terms a few seasons ago, and unless the wheels have fallen off completely (then why would we want him?), he will still probably go to a top European side for £10M plus. This is not negativity, if he does go it will be for lots of pennies. It would not be negative to say we would not get him, there are occasions when we have to accept the place we currently are, as pretty much an unknown quantity in the Premier League. Jordan Rhodes has been discussed elsewhere.

How about a year long loan, if wages permit, with a deal to purchase if desired at the end of it. This would help us in the initial 'first year' Premiership, and allow for the doubters, who think we will go back down. I really expect us to both stay up and do very well over an extended number of years!

Pepe the Horseman Can't believe I'm even responding to this.
Kjaer is one of the best centrebacks in Europe. Absolutely fucking retarded to even suggest it.

TheSiege Am I not getting something? Over the last few years several talented players have ended up at clubs that you would not have expected. They did not wish to be where they were, but few people bid for them. The people who do bid sometimes get a star! Should RFC not be involved in this?
