McCleary has thus far performed well and contributed in two games back to back.

That's something Kebe has never been able to do.

Also, McCleary has managed to find our striker with a cross. Another thing Kebe finds extremely difficult.

Kebe is a great player, but so far McCleary has produced in two Premier League games what it took Kebe half a season to produce against Championship teams.

Why change a thing?

At the moment it's McCleary's shirt to lose. Kebe will need to start putting in consistant performances to win it back. Not something I would have expected to have been saying about our undroppable star player at the beginning of last season.

Not sure, though he is likely to be out of tonight's Peterborough game with his hamstring injury, according to Johny Fordham.

I personally can't wait to see Kebe back to see how he does in the Premiership. I have a feeling he is going to produce some moments of genius this season for the MOTD highlight reel.

He's going to have to up his game based on the couple of times I've seen McCleary - which can only be good for us.

McCleary OTOH has speed, directness, a very good football brain, plenty of skill,
a decent shot. So far he's WAY more useful that Jimmy has been.

Secondly, the right-hand side partnership Gunter-McCleary is a lot better
tan Cummings-Kebe. Gunter looks the real deal to me.

I think the Premier League will suit Kebe more than the Championship as he will rarely have more than 1 man marking him. Last year when teams stuck two men on him he seemed a bit lost and didn't always have the best of games, but when he wasn't closely marked he often got the better of the full back.

Thought McCleary was brilliant again last night though, reminded me of Kebe slightly, just with an end product.

Have to agree. I know he was the freshest on the field, but his skills were still very high. He's hungry to show what he can do in the Prem and I'm not too sure that Jimmy is. This should be Kebe's time but he is MIA.......

I see no reason why we can't play Kebe and Gunter, though I understand the point Snowball is making about McCleary and Gunter having a ready-made partnership. Still Kebe for me. McCleary has been great, but I don't think three games is enough to judge him on. Kebe with McCleary as an impact sub would be what I'd start with, when Kebe's back.

Last season I quite often found myself saying Kebe's been quiet today - which seemed pretty much 100% of the time to follow with him doing something spectacular, but that still didn't change the fact he had been quiet. Although people are saying McCleary hasn't showed he is consistent game to game yet he does seem to be more consitently involved in the games minute by minute - for that reason my vote goes to McCleary, but I'd love Kebe to get his chance to terrorise the premiership defences as well.
