soggy biscuit Some speculation that Porto have accepted a €55M offer for Hulk from Zenit

Now confirmed transfer.
Proves the theory that footballers first and foremost care about money.

Not always. I imagine Samuel Eto'o went to Makhachkala for the vibrant culture and the team's storied history.

L'Equipe: Were Nasri/Clichy right to leave?

Sagna: 'Yes, but we didn't know then.'

What's your situation:

'I've 1 yr left at end of season'

lol

Thing is, he'll be 30 by the end of the season........if he does go, it wont be to a better club than Arsenal

Not the cleverest of comments from someone whose stock has already fallen having been out with a broken leg for much of the last 18 months.

Steve Keen admits he has never seen 3 of his summer signings play before but was instead told to sign them by Blackburn's global advisor Shebby Singh

Shebby Singh spent his entire career playing for Kuala Lumpor FC and Never moved into coaching or management

I think the agent Jerome Andersen is the link here ..... he advised the Venkys (wrongly) and acts for many of the players

True, possibly not the smartest thing to say for his career. I agree with him though, about Arsenal's transfer policy. Perhaps Sagna is thinking, I've only got 1 year left on my contract, Arsenal haven't talked to me about extending it, so sod it, I'll say what I think and move on when my contract ends.

I was on holiday in India a few years ago and saw a T.V. programme with our Premier League highlights (we beat Liverpool 3-1 that weekend!).
Anyway, Shebby Singh was working as a pundit on the programme and was quite the most clueless a**hole that I have ever come across. I pity Steve Keen and Blackburn.
