I just told it how it was and didn't give the players very high marks and said we should not be hoofing and hoping but taking players on and running with the ball etc etc.

Vic_Flange or actually coming back to be exact
Im doing this on my Galaxy so sorry for any speling mistaiks (sic)
What a bunch of useless "Officials" - F__ing premier? pftt Alas that applies to us too
6 games in but I seriously have some big doubts about us now - albeit the rest of the teams around us cr%p too (thanku for Sky Sports Centre appp for that even if it means I had to see that second half misery twice)
We simply go to pieces if we let in a goal - and this lot we only Swansea. Can't be bothered with any tired and overused stereotypical references/ slang names.
Second best, going down, one point I s'pose, but no wins after six games??? Cant the season end now and put us back where belong and we can start winning again? please can someone put me out of my misery here?

RoyalBlue It's interesting that almost without exception the fans who were at the game are bemoaning a shyte performance and two lost points, yet in his post match interview McDermott was celebrating a point won!
Quite how throwing away a 2-0 lead can be a cause for celebration for a manager is beyond me and the fact that McDermott doesn't appear to recognise the value of points in this league is really worrying.

royalsteve you are forgetting that swansea are one of the best passing sides in the league, imo better than chelsea....blimey these newbies know nothing about football
we have 26% possession which is 2% more than Stoke managed at Stoke the previous week!
there is no point in trying to run after the ball in their half, let them have it and play around the back all game

All well and good, but Stoke took 3 points out of their game. 2% possession for the extra 2 points gained is a good trade-off I'd say.
(possibly over-simplifying things, I know).

YES![]()
I said that though Tabb gets headers you'd think he wouldn't get, and does his best - he is just not a Premier League standard player. They cut out the last bit, so it looks like I think he's a great part of the team.cut out loads of other stuff - but I suppose space is limited.

TheRoyalJoe Sh1t performance, sh1t atmosphere and overall a dire day out.
McCarthy was top class, I thought Marriappa and hunt had decent game too.

WimbRoyal RotherWimb I think they'll be very much in a relegation battle come the end of the season.
What, Swansea?No way.
Swansea have played QPR (A), West Ham (H), Stoke (A), Sunderland (H), Everton (H), Villa (A) & Reading (H) and have 8 points. That's not a terrible haul but you'd hardly call it an amazing start especially as they've arguably only played one top 6 side in Everton.
I think they've lost a lot of talent in Sigurdsson, Allen and Sinclair and if you throw in the fact that Taylor is out for the year I think they've taken a significant step backward. If you add in the fact that teams know a lot more about them and there's always a slight drop off in intensity from first season to second, it is a recipe for struggle.
They won just two of the last nine to end last season and two in seven this year, so that's only 4 wins from the last 16 games. I think there will probably be three worse teams this season and they'll just about survive but I don't think they've got the quality to be as comfortable as last season.
