Cawley was found on November 6, carrying a train ticket from Cheltenham to Coventry, a Leeds away match ticket and a membership card in his friend's name. Cawley maintained he was going to Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre

I'm not defending the police, but maybe he is lying low at a mates house, where they can't find him. But you're right, if they can't catch him, with his name and a clear picture of him they're useless!Royal Lady wrote:FFS - you couldn't make it up - he was all over FB - if the police don't know who it was by now, they need sacking!Stuboo wrote:Totally agree with RL.
Apparently the police are currently compiling evidence from CCTV etc, not just for that one fan but for all the misbehaving ones, and trying to locate the scummer who struck Kirkland.
Taggert and Bergerac surely!!!Mr Angry wrote: Police have arrested a 21 yr old in Cheltenham this afternoon.
Apparantly it took all the combined resources of Scotland Yard, Morse, The New Tricks team and Poirot to nail this elusive super-criminal.
Why not?TheMaraudingDog wrote:As funny as it would be to see the Leeds twat jailed, you can't really jail someone for a push in the face.
Depends on previous I would think.TheMaraudingDog wrote:As funny as it would be to see the Leeds twat jailed, you can't really jail someone for a push in the face.
It's still a criminal offence though (what in particular will be decided I guess). I agree in that it's very unlikely to be jailed, probably community service/ fine - and being banned from every sporting game for the rest of his life would go down well too...TheMaraudingDog wrote:As funny as it would be to see the Leeds twat jailed, you can't really jail someone for a push in the face.

You know we live in a country where people can get 8 months in prison for wearing a t-shirt?TheMaraudingDog wrote:As funny as it would be to see the Leeds twat jailed, you can't really jail someone for a push in the face.
The things Leeds fans were saying on twitter after Michael Brown broke Karacan's ankle really showed me the type of people many leeds fans are. They were loving the fact they'd seriously hurt one of our players.who are ya? wrote:I appear to have offended some Leeds fans on Twitter today.
