Shorey playing excellently as he has all season, not quite sure where the goal is coming to come from. Agreed that a bit more creativity in the form of Guthrie is what is really needed now.

Given Hunt and Roberts built up a good partnership last season there's seems little understanding between them today. Both working hard, both troubling Norwich's defence and winning balls back in dangerous areas, but neither really there to support the other in crucial times. Neither doing much in the box.

McCleary looks lively. McAnuff solid. Tabb & Ledge just about in control. Gorkss up and down. Morrison looks a talent. Gunter lightweight but ok. Shorey a cut above. Fed solid.

Defences look solid but at the same time you can see that either could fall apart at a moment's notice. Norwich playing poorly. Reading on top. Neither attack looking on form at all. Norwich, lots of niggling fouls.

I think Morrison looks like he's got the brain of Pearce and physical attributes of Mills. Exactly the sort of defender we're looking for. TBH, I'd quite like to see him next to Pearce, or maybe Mariappa. Gorkss still isn't impressing me this season.

I agree that they keep fouling Roberts, but the rest of the team has been diving today.
