TheSiege I'll treat your post respectfully, on this occasion, because I don't mind expanding what I was saying. My Grandfather played local football and supported RFC, my Father played at Arsenal, in the War Years (I never found out how or why) and supported RFC. Both served our Country in World Wars so that Britain would never be invaded by foreigners - We were an Island who had kept everyone at bay for 2000 years (with an occasional blip) and, in that time had invented most of the technology of the time, had an education system that others could only dream about and, most importantly, we were a society who knew right from wrong!

Apart from 3-4 centuries of Roman rule, followed by the Dark Ages, and then a large percentage
of the country under Viking rule, before finally succumbing to an Invasion by the French in 1066,
those French who were never ousted, but merely assimilated.

And then our wonderful queen is descended from the Dutch and married to a Greek. Yeah we are pure and undefeated

And you are going to actually say something when (by which I mean stand up and state YOUR view)? I thought not.

1. Gays are absolutely, in every way the equal of straights and bisexuals.

2. Immigration is the life-blood of any society. Check who made the great inventions, some time.

3. At least 95% of immigrants work harder and care more, have more ambition than the bottom 40% of our society.

4. Chinese and other Asiatics, Indians study harder than most "Brits"

5. The English Royal Family is not Anglo-Saxon.

6. The vast majority of square miles in the UK are NOT built on.

7. We NEED immigration by younger people to earn money/pay taxes to pay for a growing older population.

Will that do for starters?

TheSiege All to house Financial Migrants that the country neither wants nor needs.

Like the Jewish immigrants in the past (now heavily represented in the highest echelons of society)

Siege, your post is classic "I am not a racist, but.." language.
What is actually special about being British? We have massacred millions. We invented the concentration camp.
How can we "have immigrants"? We ARE immigrants.
Almost certainly we are descended from black stock. Then add a good dose of Roman, plenty of Viking, loads of French,
mix in (over the centuries) German, Dutch, Belgian, Italian, Irish, and, dare I say it JEWS!

This truly is the biggest load of Socialist Cr*p around! Every other country have an indiginous population except us? This whole thing came from a devious Labour politician who was trying to pretend that importing financial migrants to cause a rise in the Growth figures was good. In the history of humanity, every race could be considered to be immigrants. Do the native fauna and flora get a vote? What is sure is that, since the rise of kingdoms and country boarders, people have felt a need to assert their nationality. The ethnic Britains are a mixture of indigenous at the time, celt, gaulish tribes, romans, vikings, Normans and traders. The mix starting when GB was still part of the continent but stopping in the age of Kings when William the Conquerer arrived from Normandy. The British are more indiginous than almost any other race apart from the American indian and the Australian Aborigine.

And if someone wants to talk about South Africa, they may just get more truth than they bargained for!

This whole thing? What immigration "started" because of ONE labour politician? You mean the Tories in the early fifties
didn't call on people from the West Indies to come to the UK because we were desperate for manpower?

I don't "feel a need" to assert my nationality. Not if it means skinheads and swastikas
Nick Griffin, the BNP, and rabid Daily Mail readers

"The ethnic Britains (Britons) are a mixture of indigenous at the time, celt, gaulish tribes, romans, vikings, Normans and traders. "

So not at all pure, then...

And "stopping in the age of William of Normandy"? So no French landing after 1066? No Hugenot refugees? No Jews?
No Irish (at least a million)... and what about your revered "Royal Family"?

"The British are more indiginous than almost any other race apart from the American indian and the Australian Aborigine. "

A stunningly ill-informed remark.

I'd just like to say that the Reading FC team really should be comprised solely
of Tory-voting 100% white English male heterosexuals.

However in the interest of "equality" perhaps we might have an Irish chappie
or perhaps one (no need to go overboard) slightly dusky chap?

And French & Welsh invasion of 1485, and the Dutch invasion of 1688. Oh, and you forgot the Angles, the Saxons and possibly the Jutes as well, although I may have made that last bit up.

Thank fcuk for that.

Bollox. One day they'll be old and have to be looked after. It's not what we need but what we don't need - and what we don't need is people living as long as they currently are (in Europe anyway). 75's enough (except for me because it's a bit too near).

You could argue it doesn't matter because we're all African anyway. Or Fish.

It's odd how the siege's response to this post has united everyone against bigotry, but the actions of our own Jason Roberts divided opinion.
People will always be prejudiced, it's human nature (sadly).
When i collect my son from nursery, all the little'uns are playing together regardless of religion, race, gender or sexual preference (if it's embedded at that age). We acquire these thoughts from what we here and see.
I don't consider myself homophobic, nor do my friends, but i know this, i'd definitely prefer my son to be straight than gay. Having said that, he's my son, and i'll love him no matter what.

In "today's climate" perhaps many heterosexual fathers would prefer
their son to be straight.

But that in itself might simply be because (currently)
it makes life simpler.

I don't think you will EVER have a heterosexual father who wants his son to be gay. They may accept it once it happens though. Most people want grandkids like you said...
