Face it peeps...while not a bad team, we're not losing big and are in most games, we just don't have enough to win at this level. At some point our record speaks for itself.

The look on Brian's face says it all, this is his last Reading game. He's almost in tears.

It's going to be a painful break-up that's for sure, but all parties will "move-on" to better things.

Poor b@stard. - he looked broken there. Gutted for him.

I'm not mad or angry now, I really feel sorry for him. He seems out of his depth and the team are certainly out of their depth.

Maybe this Premier League lark is just not 'The Reading Way'

Ideal Pog is useless, no workrate, slow, lazy. Falls over a lot. He can goal hang and poach, that's it. Other than that he offers nothing FOR THE TEAM.

We had at least 4 chances that a goal hanging poacher would have nailed tonight...........

two games against an average villa and wigan side and we lose both. cant string more than two passes together, our midfield is a championship level. i know your going to say what did you expect? but i thought that we would at least be able to compete and fight for survival. i hope im wrong but i fear January could be to late. dont understand why we brought on hunt for roberts and it was almost as if we were waiting for them to score before we subbed McCleary on. on to man utd and i cant say im looking forward to that. rant over

Man Friday Played well for the away team. Matched them throughout. Should have scored a goal or two. Some poor finishing, esp by Alf.

Played well !!! You on drugs ?

Regardless of the performance, it has got to the point where we need points HOW EVER we can get them.
Not good enough performance anyways!

Wholesale changes needed.

I think Villa got their tactics spot on today. They shut us off down the wings by doubling up on McAnuff and Robson-Kanu. That's the problem with not having anyone creative in midfield - our main threat is crosses into the box. Shut that off, and you neutralise our attack - with the only hope being Roberts or ALF doing something clever. Very tactically astute game plan from Lambert there. That said, I think there were 2 or 3 fouls that led to Villa getting their goal so we're unfortunate not to come away with a point. We need Kebe back to trick his way through defences.

I still don't blame Brian. HTH.

So we cant beat Villa, Wigan, Norwich, QPR, Fulham, Newcastle or Swansea. Teams that'll be lower half this season.

So, who can we beat :|

He may be that, I don't know. But he's not a donkey. That prize goes to the other sh*te that Brian bought in the summer. We had f*cking Gunnarson on the bench tonight FFS! How is THAT ready for the Premiership?! We had Church on the bench earlier the season. Seriously, the guy is f*cking deluded.

It pains me to say this but Brian has failed as a PL manager. If we want to be here next season then we have to sack him now. If we don't mind accepting our fate and going back to the Championship and re-building the team, then of course we should keep him. He'd be the ideal man for the job. Are we thinking long term or this season? That's what it comes down to.

Not good enough.

No quality, and AV were not that good.

We're going down with the big man in charge.

Time to move Mr McD on,

All those calling for his head, who would you have in to run the team?

I'm still undecided, and am of the opinion that McD deserves the jan transfer window to try and shore up the squad. If after this we still go down, then fair enough, he has taken us as far as he can and should move aside for someone new.

There is no reason why we wouldn't bounce back.

We've lost against our rivals after an indifferent start.

We've got worse from a bad start, not scoring is a bad, bad thing.

Not sure if he will be given the chance to improve things if we are bottom in Jan
