Reading 1 - 5 Manchester Utd

I can see us scoring as Man utd have been shaky at the back but they will obliterate our goal.

This year's Man Utd is a far cry from the Man Utd teams of the past. I do not see a thrashing coming up but I do see it being a comfortable 2-0 Man Utd win. It'll be a story of very much versus not nearly enough. We will compete, we will work our tails off as we always do, we will frustrate them at times but in the end for us it will be a tale of sound and fury representing nothing...

Alex Ferguson wants goals to improve the goal difference this season.

Utd may well get a few this weekend if they score early.

Players will play for their lives but got down 0:2

McDermott will praise their fantastic fighting spirit and give them a chance to repeat it the following weekend.

I think Reading's midfield will dominate match and the guile of our forwards will rip their haphazard keeper and unsettled defence to bits, has 6-0 all over it.

Oh, hang on a minute, I mean Man United where i wrote reading....

Reading 0 Man Utd 6

Maybe a bloody good hammering might change the managers response after the game and instead of saying the lot of effort crap and finally admitting that at this level we are about as poor as it gets, and both he and the majority of his team are woefully out of their depth at this level,

That, in a sentence, really does sum up everything, doesn't it. Being relieved/happy at only getting beaten by 2.

Reading 0 - Man Utd 5. at half time. Maybe double figures after 90 minutes.

We would do well to keep the score down to 0-3 at Full Time. However we need to move on to another dire performance.

One can almost hear McDonut's post match interview. Emmm
