Creativity - lack off

by Woolly68 » 28 Nov 2012 08:00

Just trying to remember the last goal that we scored from open play...

Villa - no

Wigan - no

Everton - no

Defence is looking at little better, just now need some creativity in midfield, I guess that's Guthrie. It's worth a go after his injury / ban, especially against Man Utd as we have nothing to lose.

Soton, Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham are all games we can pick up points.

Le Fondre's header was vs Everton, wasn't it?

Amazingly McDermott finally seems to have arrived at the same conclusion. I understand that after last night's game he said that 'We need to be more creative"!

It means the creativity lack is off. Therefore, by default we are creative! Phew! I was beginning to get concerned that as an attacking force we carried all the potency of a disposable plastic knife trying to cut through an iron bar. Glad the OP has put me right.

Yet this style of football won the Championship last season. Minimal creativity, terrific points return after Roberts joined. Who is to say there wont be a catalyst in January 2013?

You don't creativity by playing two defensive midfielders, both of which are average Championship players, and by playing long ball.

The fact Brian was moaning that we need to be more attacking just shows how lost he is.

In case you didn't realise, Brian played the only two CM he had available.

Again, it's not his fault he didn't have the funds available to buy 4 new central midfielders.

All the evidence and the league we are playing in suggest that this style will be no more effective in the second half of the season. Even if it is, it may well be too late.

Look Danny - this is getting ridiculous now. Just post on the one thread, yeah? Or try channelling all this pent up h8 and anger into your football training instead.

If you had a shift lack everything would be in lower case. Unless of course you still had a caps lack. Actually, thinking about it, a caps lack would still mean everything only in lower case. Life would be like constantly reading a menu in an expensive "I saw you coming" boutique hotel - probably printed on paper sourced from some Fairtrade pigmys from Ethiopia with a plum coloured backing.

isle of gigha halibut with atlantic king crab, cauliflower couscous, finger lime and ras el hanout infused broth anyone?
