Woolly68 Just trying to remember the last goal that we scored from open play...
Villa - no
Wigan - no
Everton - no
Defence is looking at little better, just now need some creativity in midfield, I guess that's Guthrie. It's worth a go after his injury / ban, especially against Man Utd as we have nothing to lose.
Soton, Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham are all games we can pick up points.

It means the creativity lack is off. Therefore, by default we are creative! Phew! I was beginning to get concerned that as an attacking force we carried all the potency of a disposable plastic knife trying to cut through an iron bar. Glad the OP has put me right.

RoyalBlue Amazingly McDermott finally seems to have arrived at the same conclusion. I understand that after last night's game he said that 'We need to be more creative"!

Divvy You don't creativity by playing two defensive midfielders, both of which are average Championship players, and by playing long ball.
The fact Brian was moaning that we need to be more attacking just shows how lost he is.

Yet this style of football won the Championship last season. Minimal creativity, terrific points return after Roberts joined. Who is to say there wont be a catalyst in January 2013?
