noelgallagher F*ck me this game is hard to predict. Personally, man for man I think they may just edge us in terms of quality. But only just. My gut instinct says 2-2 and a feisty old match. If we win it will be by two clear goals.
BcD got it right tactically against them last season. Hope he gets it right this season too.
Every game this season is massive, the old cliche "cup final" however this one is as important a match up as last seasons game at Saint Mary's. If not, more so.

RFCSPACE 2-0 Saints. Lambert to run riot.
Last season was the most clinical (i.e. lucky and not repeatable) win I've ever watched. We were hopeless yet managed to steal 3 goals. This season we're hopeless and stealing goals isn't easy. This match will show just how far behind Southampton we actually are, and they are struggling in the PL with the best striker in the Championship last year, an England international (lol) and a £12M signing that most Reading fans would spunk over.

Ian Royal 3-2 Saints.
Robert, McAnuff
Reading take the lead, Saints equalise, Saints take the lead, Reading pull it back, Reading go for the win, get sucker punched and lose another game, late winner for Saints.

Interesting to see you making up your own definition of a word... clinical means lucky and not repeatable, rather than deliberate, repeatable and controlled does it?
Given the actual definition is: "extremely objective and realistic; dispassionately analytic; unemotionally critical" I think you may want to pick a different word in future.

RFCSPACE Regardless of what word I use, that wasn't really my point. We aren't going to win.

Two teams who are regularly scoring goals but can't defend their way out of a paper bag. 0-0 is particularly unlikely.
