Midfield

by InDaClub » 10 Dec 2012 20:08

For me, the main problem about RFC is our midfield. Although our defence is lacking (despite Gorkss being dropped) the midfield are physically not capable of managing to pass the ball to the strikers.
An example- at Man U (H) Morrison deflected a V.Persie shot which went soaring down to Ledge who kicked it four centimetres in front of him, followed by dumb and dumber (Ledge and McAnuff) attempting to regain control, but instead manage to lose the ball which was kicked back to Rooney.
Our Midfield needs a kick up the @ss BM!
My personal analysis of the MF is
Karacan- Nippy little bugger but poor tackling
Leigertwood- Nothing to say. Slow, heavy and gormless. Unable to head a ball or kick it. True, he scores some fantastic goals but purely by luck
McAnuff- Only plays because he's captain, Jobi does some nice moves but mess arses around with the ball too much for the Premier League. Try playing like that against bloody Kompany next May and get battered.
McCleary- Nice little run down the wing but never starts
Kebe- Unpredictable... and always f**king injured! How much are RFC paying him to sit on his arse with a poorly leg?
Tabb- Compared to last season- I really rate Tabb. Despite his height, he wins his headers. Just some poor fouls need to be cut out.
HRK- Does OK. Mediocre player
Guthrie- Really like Danny, hope to see him starting soon!

Honestly I believe if we sort out this Midfield and splash the cash in January on some good midfielders, we might start banging up those 3 points because if the MF can control the ball with nice neat crosses and runs down the wing for the strikers then Robbo, Pog or Alfie or whoever is playing can nip them in the back of the net no problem.

If BM buys some cr@ppy strikers or defenders then we are screwed. FFS our last home game is last years winners! Even if our team dont concede the goals of Aguero, Tevez or Balotelli and manage to get mast Nasri or Kompany then how the f*** will we score against Hart?

C'mon BM!
