i know we are doing poorly at the moment, but lets no go all mental

and Mcleary's playing fantastic- I think not

Reading playing fantastic - I think not! Dont pick on players who havnt been given a run in the team. Pick on Jobi! :o

But shirley if Mccleary was doing well in training etc, he'd be in what I agree is a poor Royals side and Jobi is equally poor

McCleary probably angers BM because he runs with the ball instead of hoofing it. Bit of the Danny Guthrie's but without the outbursts and 'injuries'.

SPARTA Who do you think we were looking at out of that lot?

Schmeichel? Trotter? Wood? Batt (promising striker)? Vardy?

Batt is not promising, he's woeful!

LOL @ Batt, barely plays!!

Trotter is easily good enough but would break FA Rule 2.3 'Millwall must have a player called Trotter in their team at all times'

Keogh is better than all of Reading's strikers as is Wood, murked.

Rumour in the Leicester hood is that it's Knockaert we looked at.

Whether it's true or not, who knows...

interesting. from his wiki page he seems to be a decent young am, but a lot of his goals came from the france league 2. 5 goals in 22 matches for leister though, he could be one for the championship next year if we go down. def one for the future.

Trotter would be a good signing, but he'll cost a fair bit given the number of clubs looking at him

Not under McDermott. He's an attacking midfielder. He'll go the same way Matejovsky and Howard did, and Guthrie... Otherwise a yes please from me. Just what we need if we alter our long-ball tactics.

Trotter or Wood

There is no way that either of those two would be available in our budget.

'On' our budget. Our budget that you haven't got the foggiest about. Gunter and Mariappa were top end rated Championship players and both went for £2.5m, so Wood or Trotter might not be as expensive as you guess.

No, IN our budget, as
"IN our January budget, we have £5m" and I was being sarcastic.............

As for Gunter being rated a top end championship player last season, that was IN your opinion right?

Wood is on loan from West Brom and Millwall are intending to break their club record by paying £1 million for him, according to the Evening Standard.

another 2 for Wood, he does look good and will only get better...

Brighton manager Gus Poyet: "He [Chris Wood] is the kind of player we would like to bring in,
"He's only 21 and I feel he will be a top, top player. When he was with us on loan he was a baby but now he is maturing. He's a man now.
"He's clinical and brave and we have played a part in helping him on his way."

He must be a real prodigy if Brighton took him on loan when he was a baby.
