StooperRoyalwasterReading4eva What do you think I do all day. Think up random rubbish.
Remember we do have a 25 player cap in the Premier League. Carrico fills the spare spot we had. I would expect Church, Gorkss and Brynjar to lose there squads in that 25 man shakeup if we are serious about staying up. Seeing as a Premier League team can generally command a bigger fee than a Championship one, there is no reason to doubt this.
Also seriously would Swindon think one of their big Championship rivals would sell to them. They want this done ASAP for their sake too
Yes that's exactly what you do - think up random rubbish ... Swindon have not got the funds to buy a player costing £500k, full stop.
Precisely.
Di Canio has said very publicly that he has no funds.

Royalwaster Yes but he's not going to give £500k is he ... ?
I don't think he understands the concept of "breaking the salary cap"

Reading4eva I understand from one of my sources, Swindon Town have enquired and made a bid for Kaspars Gorkss. It is unknown if the bid has been accepted but it is understood to be around the £500,000 mark

Didn't say he was - was just refuting the point :I don't think he understands the concept of "breaking the salary cap"
But quite apart from that, the real reason to LoL at this idea is the thought that Gorkss or his agent would happily turn down the wages a PL club give him in favour of the sort of wages Swindown could offer.
