Alexander Litvinenko I bet no-one making predictions would have marked Everton at home as "WINNABLE".

Football is unpredictable - if it wasn't then it'd be a lot less enjoyable, and we'd all be living off our betting winnings.

Therefore I'm out of all the pointless speculation.

But there'll be some disappointments in winnable games and hopefully some surprises in those written off as anything's a bonus. With a bit of luck the surprises will make up for or exceed the disappointments. Soby marking up the gamse we ought to be able to get a win, we give ourselves a baseline for what we can do, though results won't necessarily need to match that exactly.

And if football was unpredictable, you wouldn't be able to make reasonable predictions about where teams would finish - which mostly you can, or on the result of individual games - which often you can. And bookies would struggle with it.

Which ever way you look at it IF we can win the games up to Wigan we could be out of the bottom three, the way that affects the players is unlnown, but they should have faith back in their abilities. Then a nasty run of three away and one home to Villa, again take those points from Villa and that spell would be ok, IMHO. then there are seven left, and IMHO we would beed 10 points from those, but more importantly beat the teams below us, and beat them well.

This should be called the final countdown. And the only thread about the run in. IMHO, glad that it includes reality, it is still possible, believers know this to be true.

Can add Norwich to the list of winnable games? wouldn't write off City either - what will they have to play for then? Can't see their overseas signings turning up really if its a dead game for them.

Five wins will keep us up. I am highlighting those five games. Lose one of them we search for another.

I'd be happy to pick up a draw there, and then the same against everton too. Then we're looking in nicer shape!
