Having gone to school to Wolverhampton and the amount of crap I had to put with from Wolves fans when we got relegated I will find it hilarious if (when) Wolves go down.

For my many good friends who support Wolves, I will not. The club is in such a mess at the moment, I know a lot of people who have stopped going to games because they've just had enough of it all.

Stooper Wasn't there for that one, and heard a lot of people say it was exaggertated (I'm not questioning it was horrific before anyone takes offence, I hate Hull for treatment I received there but other people have no problem with them)

I just remember them from the clashes in the 90's and see a bit more of a friendly rivalry.

1994 - Got spat on in a car park in Wolves town centre after a game
1996 - Got chinned in the underpass outside the away end at Molineux
1997 - Walked into the Spread Eagle before a game against Wolves at Elm Park to be told immediately by a Wolves fan at the bar to "fukk off, this is a Wolves boozer today".
1998 - Walking along Tilehurst Road after beating them in the League Cup heard one Wolves fan behind me say to his mate "I'm gonna twat one of these" pointing to us. Luckily he then got distracted by some taunting from the other side of the road and ran over there to get stuck in instead.
2003 - Walking down Acre Road before the second leg of the play off final, Wolves fan chucks a half can full of lager at a young Reading fan walking past him and minding his own business.

All football teams have a minority of twats following them. Wolves just seem to have a very large minority. Or maybe I'm just unlucky? Regardless, I hate them.

It'll be brilliant if they can go all the way back down to the basement like they did in the 80s.....

Interesting comparisons to the 80's collapse. They built a massive stand which they could not pay for droped down to div 4.
After 2 seasons of just surviving in the prem they decide to increase the ground to 50,000 over 3 years. Relagated now stairing at div 3. A warning to Reading me thinks.

There will always be risk involved when dealing with stadium expansions. Chelsea, Wolves and Spurs were all crippled with debt in the 70s and 80s after ludicrous schemes to rebuild certain parts of their grounds. Wolves' problems, I believe can stem from the moment Sir Jack Hayward sold the club in 2007.

As for the town, it is a right dump with much of its inhabitants still living in the 1960s. Allegedly the second ugliest people in the UK with only the two-headed sheep worrying freaks from s*indon ahead in the grunting order.

The Wolves bench against Barnsley

31 De Vries Free
11 Ward 100,000
14 Johnson 7 million
19 Hammill 500,000
26 Davis Free
29 Doyle 6.5 million
35 Cassidy 300,000

Not including Noel Hunt out injured all season bought for 3 million. Also Jamie O' Hara 3.5 million who did play on 35k a week. About 20 million squids worth of players more than our entire sqaud and only one played........

Looks like they've progressed from motivational booing to motivational abuse.

I liked how they clapped the officials though.

Gotta LOL @ De Vries who ditched the Swans when they got promoted to go chasing the money. Same goes for Pratley at Bolton.
