SHORT AND CURLY Stelios Haji-Ioannou is best known for setting up EasyJet.
He took the successful Airline as far as he could before getting the boot!
More experienced executives took over and moved the organisation up to the next level.
Brian is in the same bracket. He has done a fantastic job but appears to have gone as far as he can. He needs to "Move On"
We need a manager with a bit of nous and a plan to move forward.

Ever worked with them? If you had, you'd know that this is the worst analogy EVER!

AussieRoyal15 At least Adkins isn't afraid in blooding youngsters and didn't choose players because of loyalty

Barry the bird boggler This is the same TSI that were apparently going to let Brian spend 10m+ on Sigurdsson and/or 7m+ on Ince is it? Suggests to me that if Brian had instead said I need three more players for a total of 10m that they would also have backed him

Barry the bird boggler Who was that bloke who was at Barcelona last season, wonder if he'd be up for a real challenge?

Apparently being the operative word. We could say we bid £80 million for Ronaldo, doesn't mean a) we had the money or b) we ever had a chance of him coming here.
I strongly believe it was all lip service.
WHY do you think McD didn't buy 2 or 3 £3 million pound players? Do you HONESTLY believe he thought what he already had was good enough?
