Slovenia midfielder on Reading's radar



Reading are eyeing a summer swoop for Slovenia international Jasmin Kurtic.

The Royals, who have nine games left to preserve their Premier League status, are already identifying their end-of-season transfer targets and are tracking Kurtic, who plays for Italian side Palermo.

The 24-year-old moved to Palermo from Gorica in 2011 but was swiftly loaned out to Serie B side Varese.

He has since returned to his parent club and been a mainstay in their first-team this season, catching the eye of Reading.

If we aren't planning for each division then Nicky Hammond should be sacked, as should the new chief scout. Of course we're looking at players. That doesn't stop just because we are looking for a new manager!
