Norwich 1-2 Reading
Snodgrass
HT 1-0
Blackman
Le Fondre

Le Fondre is due a goal and Blackman needs one to kick-start his Reading career. I think Blackman will need a season in the Championship, before becoming a good player for us.

Norfolk Royal Norwich have had trouble scoring all season, particularly acute at the moment, Holt is having a mare and fans are on his back.

If we can avoid defensive errors, big ask I know, I can see this at 0-0 or 1-1.

Most likely result is a narrow win for Norwich though, or us, or a big win for Norwich. That should cover all eventualities AICMFP.

you've missed out big win for us. yeah, ok. i know.

I really hope to be proved wrong but so far I havent seen anything in Blackman to suggest that he can even be an important player for us in the championship, let alone in the prem. At the moment it seems like a weird buy, however he must have something otherwise Brian et al. would not have purchased. I will be as happy as anyone if he becomes the player that the club and fans expected, but at the moment I am really struggling to see anyway in which he can ever play an important role at our club.

McDermott and Adkins have played him as a winger, not as a striker, which is where he played at Sheffield United. It would be interesting to see him play there.

I can see us sending him out on loan to a smaller Championship, or a top League One, club next season though.

I think he could end up like a Manset signing, or a bit-part player in the future.

really?
I haven't discussed Blackman with my friends much so I dont really know the general opinion on him but I have really thought he is one of the worst reading players I have seen in a long time.
I really do not like putting our players down, however every single time I have seen him play he has been awful.

I am hoping he can find some form and maybe he just needs some game time to get his reading career off and running.

Maybe the majority of reading fans have seen something in him that I haven't and I would be more than happy to see him get a run in the team to maybe gain some valuable experience before the start of next season.

Thought he had a poor game against Liverpool but the other time I've seen him (not that I remember when that was) he actually looked very good.

Well, we're on the back of a 1 game unbeaten run.....but I expect it'll be another abysmal loss because we are absymal.

Norwich 3 Reading 1

They are 3-0 up and give up thus allowing us to take the positives from a ten minute cameo at the end.

Norwich have only won one game in 16....here we come....the footballing version of viagra!

Royalclapper By the way, do Norwich ever have to wear an away kit? Their away strip must be one of the least spotted in the whole of English football.

No they don't. Something to do with Sandringham ... royal county and all that.

oh, and 3-1.
