Only professional footballer that I have seen cry after a heavy challenge, actual real tears
Just like Simon church he totally lacks bottle, with his physique he should dominate full backs.
With a bit more aggression in their game both could be good players but they do not have it in them.

Royalwaster £4-5million would do the trick for me.

Robson Kanu is never a 4-5million pound footballer, not even Harry redknapp is that daft

I agree, I thought £4-5m was a bit high. What would you value him at?

HRK is one of those players that's probably worth more to us than we'll be offered for him.

I think HRK and McCleary would tear the Championship apart - it will also mean a left and right footed winger

Are you assuming that Kebe will leave, or do you just prefer McCleary?

Pearce will definitely leave but I will be very disappointed if we let HRK go. I think he could be a key player for us next season.

I actually prefer McCleary - i just love his tricks and the Ronaldo chop he does that seems to always get us a free-kick

we were shite at spot kicks last season, whereas we havent missed one this season. Its our free kicks, not our penalties, that have been disappointing

Left back really is the position that we need to sort out as a matter of priority. Against Norwich I think every corner from the right, and free kicks, were taken by Guthrie. Fair play to him for doing that but it was really crying out for a left footer to swing it in to put more pressure on the keeper.

Adkins clearly doesn't fancy Shorey or Harte in that position so we must get one in soonest.

How much is a 24 year old reserve team player worth that cannot hold down a place in what is the worst premiership side this year.
I doubt anyone will be queuing up to sign him.

I'd quite happily see HRK go to Cardiff. If that's their marquee signing they'll not get into double figures points wise next year.

USA_Loyal_Royal I highly rate hrk and it will be devastating to our rebuild if he leaves in all honesty.

People dying is devastating. Massive natural disaters are devastating. A footballer transferring from one club to another is not. HTH

Really unless the players want to leave then we should have to sell to keep the club going, parachute payments are more than wat they used to be and we supposly have a Russian billionaire, hopefully we can do a west ham get players and convince them we will go straight back up

There has been absolutely no evidence that we have a russian billionaire and even if he is, he has continuously stated that he will be running reading as a business. For this reason I can see us selling anyone, and as per usual we will be back to a feeder club unfortunately.

If the money is right, every team in England - bar none - is a feeder club.

We have seen evidence of McLeary developing in confidence as a player and I anticipate seeing much more of him next season.
