Are you oxf*rd serious?

He's been available for selection for 45% of league games this season. Depends on your definition of "most" I suppose. People always slate me for saying McCarthy should have started more, but it's true.

The definition of most is not subjective. In terms of both time, and as you have pointed out games, he has been injured for MOST of the season. END OF.

If a "season" is defined by all the games played between the end of pre-season and the beginning of the next (i.e including cup games) he has been fit for 51% (READ: MOST by your definition). END OF.

Karacan/Gurthie partnership is forming very nicely! Hope it doesn't get broken up!

We will be lucky if Mariappa is still here in September.

If we can keep atleast 8/11 of this starting 11 we will have a more than capable squad.

The midfield is actually providing cover for the back line today and not leaving the huge gaps we've been seeing.

Obviously we're talking about the Premier League season, your initial post made it clear that you were talking about the Premiership, and hence the debate began. Stop being a silly child and accept defeat.

What do we do when the full backs push forward? I see quite a lot of yellow shirts up the pitch when we attack.

My initial post:

It's amazing really. HRK & McCarthy are probably going to be joining PL clubs this summer despite only starting 10 games each. If they are PL quality (which they clearly are) why did that fat bloke never play them?

Followed by:

Nov-Apr is hardly most of the season. He still wasn't played enough when he was fit (see start of season)

Nowhere in those two posts did I define that a "season" consisted of just PL games. Moron.

I think that is the best we've looked in terms of actually playing good football, for several years. We still look a little disjointed and lacking confidence with the final ball / shot, and a little fragile at the back. But we passed the ball like a dream most of that half. Jobi, Hal and Gaz roaming all over with pace and teh skillz. Gunter getting forward well allowing Hal to tuck in and support Pav when we've got the ball wide left.

McCarthy in good form. Defence solid if rather tested by quite a good Fulham attack.

Delighted. This is what Adkins is about. Lets keep it up and get the win.

Mcdermott nearly ruined Karacan didn't he?

Looks twice the player playing in this team

ZacNaloen I'd love to see some possession stats

http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/615294/Live
Possession
Fulham 53% - 47% Reading
Pass completion
Fulham 81% - 86% Reading
Aerial Success
Fulham 69% - 31% Reading

That pretty much confirms it's by far our best passing display. I reckon we were probably on top in possession up until we woke them up by scoring and the terrible Karagounis came off.

I''d love to see where you're getting this miraculous figure of 51% from, because I can't get it to that figure no matter how I try, cup-ties included or not.

He does well to get up and down the pitch but I've been disappointed with Gunters delivery, seeing how much space he gets when hrk drifts in you would think he could whip a better ball in
