I find it difficult to understand why anyone would see Pog as a key player next season. Granted he's been given little chance to show his ability this season but there isn't really enough evidence to suggest he will rip up the chump.

Would have thought Carlton Cole would be a better bet tbf.

Pog got bullied a lot this season by defenders double and treble his size (in waist I mean). Next season he'll be a key player, he'll have more protection, because in the Prem you don't see small clubs getting decisions, the Chump is a bit more of an even playing field.

Elm Park Kid 85% want to get rid of Tabb then. I thought that he had quite a few ardent supporters on here? (Personally I don't think he good enough to play football at either PL or FL level).

Given that everyone knows he's off to Ipswich it seemed a bit pointless to vote to keep.

I suspect Harte/Shorey/Hunt figures are similarly skewed.

I put to keep Tabby

Would really like him to stay as hes a decent championship player

Do we know for sure that Tabb is off though? McD didnt want him anymore but does it mean that Adkins feels the same

Getting up close to 1000 responses now. If we get to 1000, I shall re-post the stats with updated figures. Thanks all for completing the survey. The results so far are on page 2 of this thread

If we sell Federici, Gorkss, Ledge & Pog and release Taylor, Harte, Shorey, Pearce, Tabb, Hunt & Church we would have a lot of scope to bring in new players to develop the squad, some of the ones we want to keep might not make the starting 11 next year.

I don't think he was bullied, I just think he was looking for free kicks.

We have to look at what is a luxury in the Championship - Pog will not want to play Championship football yet he is not really hot property for the Prem-his Agent has probably lined up a move back to Russia -where he might get his £65k a week . Keeping three experienced right backs is also luxury we do not need, as would keeping McCarthy and Feds.

Equally we need a big clear out to develop the squad- so the days of Ledge/Tabb/Gorks/ Hunt etc are gone.

Do we also need such a big squad -lets have a good experienced core of say 18 players and then if required use the promising youngsters.

I'm a fan, but it's clear he's a gonna and with a resurgent Karacan + Akpan, I don't see a lot of room for him.

TBH, after last season all the players could leave and I wouldn't be bothered.... nearest thing to an exception to that is Alex McCarthy.

Hungary Royal Absolutely gobsmacked that 22% of people would sell McAnuff and only 34% would keep Pog. I've always thought for next season build a team around Pog and Guthrie. These two are key players in my mind. Getting rid of McAnuff (who this season has been a constant performer, from what I've heard and seen on the TV highlights on MOTD), leaves me . But people are all entitled to their opinions, so let them be like that.

Define performer? He's worked hard but very, very rarely set the world on fire. Has not had nearly enough quality this season and with all our wingers fit I'd have started HRK and Kebe. That said, I voted to keep, but I understand why some didn't.

Seems to me that he rarely puts in an early or first time cross, always wants to beat the man over and over again, resulting in him either losing the ball, being pressured into a crap cross when everybody is marked and the momentum of the move is gone, or on the odd occasion getting into the box and firing a pee-roller at the keepers' feet or curling a 'placed' shot over and wide.

Won't be massively upset if he stays but I think McClearly, Kebe + HRK have more use and / or potential.

u not noticed that theres only one striker in the box to cross to then?
an early cross is probably quite a low benefit play to make in that sitch

Now we have decided who to sell ect. any names people would want to join the club to replace the leavers? Current Southampton players I think would be likely as they will spend again this summer. Perhaps the likes of Danny Fox at left back would be attractive and realistic for Adkins?

I seem to remember him not being very good....

considering a 17 year old has taken his place too... (though Shaw is definitely a talented player).

You do realise that these results aren't binding for the club?

Lies.

Adkins picks his team based on the match build-up threads.
