Absolutely no way.
I admit he improved after he stopped drinking, but he's not the footballing center half adkins will be after.
Besides, he scores more OG's than michael duberry!

Personally if 2 of our currents CB's leave then I don't see why not.

If we took him on a one year deal, I reckon it might be beneficial however there will be other sides after him too and he will be wanting big wages probably. Wouldn't surprise me if West Ham took him on.

Please, please no.

I have a Villa supporting mate who says that the likes of him, Warnock and Hutton were major disruptive influences on the side. The word is round there (and this is really rumour, nothing ITK or anything) that O'Neill used to let his players get away with anything - as shown by the likes of Bardsley at Sunderland. However, when McLeish, Houllier and now Lambert came in and imposed stricter regimes, the sort of players mentioned above kicked off about it. Not what you want in our club thanks.

I heard Beckham's available on a free and was once seen in England. Coincidence?

Doesn't sound like Martin O'Neill to let players get away with anything.

TheSiege Reality check here - The idea is that RFC build a Championship squad to get immediate promotion. That means we buy good, or potentially good players and mold them into a great squad alongside some of the good players we already have. Does any sane adult believe that Dunne can be mentioned in the same sentence as the above - I thought not. He has the speed of a dying tortoise, the agility of an oak tree, a very-blemished reputation and a history of failure!

Hm, stop sitting on the fence and make your oxf*rd mind up

History of failure? Where/how exactly?

Wished to reply to this but half the posts have disappeared. For a Championship team he might be a great signing but, does'nt he have a lot of baggage and would'nt he want a huge salary? I'm not sure he is worth the punt. Is someone deleting all of the sensible posts from this site? - or is it my computer?

It's your computer.

An Indian will ring you soon to tell you that you have a problem and they can fix it. Make sure you do everything they tell you.
