There are 4 or more players on the retained list who have hardly had a chance to impress. Some players only really bloom after a year at a club. I would like to see a fit Carrico playing, Akpan showing us his best, Gunter needs to put in solid performances and grow into the role and Blackman needs to show why our scouts and Manager felt he was worth a punt. All have had time but under different tactics and with two Managers. They should be given a chance. Can these guys be our heroes now we have dropped a division and they have retained fitness or started to feel at home?

Why do you think that? Seemed to be played when he wasn't injured... could be the obvious rpalcement for Jem when he goes to Galatasaray
