In for this, loved him ever since he breathed near Long in the last minute at Anfield and gave us that penalty.

On a one-year contract, as part of the squad he might be a good addition but what wages does he get against how many starts? It seems there might be a couple of signings this week but I would rather see young, hungry players with potential or a real show-stopper. Benayoun seems a bit of a strange rumour given we've just signed another 33-year old.

Two week old link... just saying. He's also said he wants to stay in Europe and make a name for himself at a club in England.

Did seem to be all over twitter last night, and not just from that fukking stupid fake John Madejski account. Wouldnt be too unhappy should this be true.

what if the idea is to use our academy to bring through young hungry players
and bridge and benayoun are brought in as the experienced quality you need alongside those players?

Ok, it was two weeks old. But they quoyed him saying he wants to go to the MLS and that hopefully it will happen in the next few weeks, so thought it would still be relevant.

The most frustrating thing about these potential signings is the fact that we would of stood such a better chance of staying up with these in our squad for the season just gone.

Hopefully the gamble on these big players if we get them is going to pay off.

I think a lot of you are forgetting we are now in the Championship and players like this would destroy that league

We do have some severely mentally retarded supporters.

They really shouldn't be given access to the internet.
