Speculation: Nick Arnold (loan)

by maffff » 28 May 2013 12:17

On the Wycombe forum, comments from a Bristol fan - signed a contract extension with us and going on a season long loan to Wycombe?

Hmmmmm. Could be plausible since this was posted just before the friendly was announced.. Be good to see him get some league time.

I do enjoy a bit of random speculation.

Exactly right, Maffffffffff.

#readingfc academy graduate Nick Arnold agrees to sign one-year contract extension. Will spend next season on loan at Wycombe

maffff Good move for the lad.

Agreed. He got unlucky with the London Riots & getting injured. Hopefully this will let him develop into the player he is supposed to be.

Arnold was going to play against Charlton in the Carling Cup in 2011, but the game was postponed due to the riots. However, he was injured shortly afterwards and couldn't play in the re-arranged fixture and potentially missed his best opportunity to show his potential for the first team.

Ah yes, I remember now. I thought i'd missed him being injured whilst rioting...never mind.
