Full-time: Singha All-Stars 0-1 Chelsea.

Lukaku's penalty proves to be the only goal of the game.

Unconvincing 6 points againts two teams looking to avoid relegation.

Didn't they beat Villa 8-0 under Benitez last year? From 8-0 to just 2-1 this season under Jose. Poor show from Mou.

We started our league fixtures 2 weeks after Reading and we've already got a point more in our respective divisions.

Why do you say WE when refering to Chelsea? Do you live in west London? Are you a season ticket holder? What are you doing spouting crap on a championship clubs fan site?

I watched the game last night and was far from convinced. Villa gave it a good go and Chelsea look as if they could be undone by better sides. Plenty of possession but no end product, at all.

Ironic isn't it that you always moan about Liverpool fans bringing up history, yet you Chelsea fans always use history in reverse by going on about how you were there when you were sh*t (ie. most of the first 100 years of CFC's existence) 8)

Now that Alex Ferguson has stepped down you can well imagine Jose Mourinho being elevated to the mantle of the referees new darling. Can't see sides getting much against Chelsea while he's there telling everyone what to do. Unfortunately this could mean that 1970's rock star lookalike David Luiz is allowed to continue with his crude brand of fouling with total disregard to anyone else's career.

Mourinho was a bit disrespectful to Paul Lambert the other evening IMO, his 'I'm the master' type belittling comments towards Lambert's efforts in trying to get a decision or two was a bit off. Is that the same Paul Lambert who played in Dortmund's CL final winning side where he had the task of subduing Zinnadine Zidane and played brilliantly? Hmm.......didn't used to mind Jose but he could well become annoying now that he's back in his comfort zone after flopping in Madrid.

Yeah, he's a great manager and yeah, he's got charm and a twinkle in his eye and he can make you chuckle at times but I've said it before and I'll say it again, Mourinho is a nasty bit of work.

The media hanging on his every word is puke-inducing.

+1.

And why do the media love him so much? Because they are generally lazy and stupid, his rent-a-quote style makes their job easier. See also Harry Redknapp.
