I now expect to see plenty of Yeovil tickets on classified.

floyd__streete All summer to sign a striker.....and then we start Blackman on his own up front ahead of ALF and Pog? LOL, f*ck off.

2 wins from 12 under Adkins. The quietest revolution I've ever known.

Pandoras Box "BBtBB says"
Worst mistake today was not playing the same 11 that started last week.....

Exactly. Last week, first half, played great and took apart a team expecting to be in automatic play offs.
This week playing a team with nowhere near the same ability - so why not put the same team out?

While agree that Blackpool are unlikely to finish ahead of Watford, they are currently top of the league. I'm disappointed, but I've no idea why people seem to think Blackpool is a place where anything other than victory is a poor result.

We're learning to play a new style where gaining points is as common as rocking horse poo.

Theroyalbox Bad day at the office today and its still early days, I agree with the philosophy of football we are trying to play but I'm not sure it'll take us up at first try

I guess THE most important question, are the players good enough to play the style NA wants.

Feckin hell, let's blame the players now because we can't possibly admit that Adkins isn't doing a very good job can we?

Yeah, what a shocking start it has been...

It's not like we've competed in every game that we've been in, and can consider ouselves unlucky not to have 3/4 more points than we do atm...or that we're only 4 games in and the transfer window doesn't shut for another week is it?

Try and contain your glee for another few weeks eh?

'cod McD had all the luck in the world didn't he, especially with refereeing decisions ref Chelsea and 6-7 others. The only match I can recall us having the rub of the green was Everton at home.

Gleeful at us losing? No, just concerned about where we're heading and the sort of club we're becoming under Blingy Zingy.

Actually I think that's a fair point. The previous manager knew that these players couldn't play that style without the sort of quality player that A. were sold by the board to balance the books and B. he was unable to sign due to the lack of budget given to him.

Sorry, who said anything about Brian? :|

And seriously? You're worried about how we're refusing to risk the future of the club by paying above market value for players, and investing the PL money into the infrastructure such as the academy and training ground that are vitat to the long term future of the club?

Each to their own, but from what I can see he's just a more resourceful, more passionate about football, and Russian version of Madejski.

My worry is that he is a less Polish version of SJM.

westongeezer The hardest thing for me, the fact I spent 12 hours fking travelling to what is a shit hole of a ground

Nobody made you do it.

westongeezer we had arguably the strongest squad and bench in the Championship and some would say some of the best players around at this time too

While we have players other clubs would rip their testicles off for, we do not have the strongest squad.

westongeezer we play like that dross we showed Sat, lacked passion and desire, we lacked shape

There's only so much you can do when faced with a ten man defence. Our shape was fine yesterday, Blackpool hardly tried to exert any pressure on us. And why is it when you lose against a team you should really have beaten the team "lacked passion and desire"?

westongeezer Blackpool pulled us to bits at times and they where crap

Are you trolling? They had one effective attack created by themselves all game.

westongeezer HRK was on the pitch far to long, we had Williams sat on the bench why ffs!

I'll grant you the former. Williams was on the bench because Adkins prefers a Guthrie/Karacan partnership. Simple.

westongeezer and also an absence of Mariappa which defies logic

He's no better or worse than Morrison or PEarce. He's hardly thesaviour and plays in a position we don't actually have many problems with. Bad luck on his part for this one.

westongeezer .....And Blackman! fking useless he's clearly Adkins love child why else would be on the pitch ...

Yes he's not up to the standard but he's the best option we have to enable the 4-2-3-1 formation work effectively, which it does to a point.
