IIRC Kebe went on 'strike' in order to get a move away from his last club and now it seems he is up to his old tricks again. Clubs shouldn't give in to b*stard players who behave in this sort of manner. Ever since Bosman players have wanted to have their cake and eat it. Fantastically rewarding contracts that they can enforce against a club but discard when they want to.
Kebe should be fetched in, put through a rigourous medical and then be fined the maximum possible before being denied a move and dumped to rot with the youth team until he comes crawling back asking for forgiveness. Only when this sort of thing happens will players begin to realise that they are not bigger than the club that provides them with such a fantastic lifestyle.
Kebe's injuries and recovery timescales have always seemed a bit suspicious to me, particularly as they often seemed to coincide with when times were tough for the team on the pitch. Adkins rightly said that Kebe could have kept us in the PL (or at least made a major contribution towards that). I now suspect that he chose not to - perhaps because McDermott got the push.
If Kebe is now going to be allowed to get his way, he will be the first former player (with exception of the FSB) who I will boo when we next encounter him and justifiably so.
Kebe, in my view you are a coward and a disgrace. However bad the team were last night, you are ten times more culpable.
