leonMr Optimist I tend to agree with Mourhino that second yellow was soft and Torres was not helped by the reaction. Would Vertongen overreacted like that if the earlier incident with Torres hadn't happened? I think he probably would.
too much supposition makes your point meaningless

Royal Rother I believe Mourinho said that Vertonghen was a disgrace for trying to get a fellow pro sent off through his over-reaction.
Was he asked what he thought of one pro deliberately scratching another one's face?
A team being molded in his own image I suppose.

Barry the bird boggler  and if that was Suarez or Barton they'd give an extended ban..... Obviously alright to do that sort of thing as a first offence

If he's been 'let off' by virtue of the fact that the ref saw it, then it wouldn't have mattered whether it was a first offence or he's a serial scratcher.

Sanguine Chelsea is really a striker's graveyard, isn't it? Only Drogba has thrived there.
Shevchenko, Torres, Ba, Anelka basically got shitter whilst he was there; then the opposite, Sturridge starts scoring when he leaves, Lukaku thrives away from the Bridge.
