One8Seven1 Can't be bothered with a summary. It was a poor performance on our part, but Millwall fans as always great value and easy to reel in. Had those mongdivs had any balls about them, we'd all be dead by now with our throats cut, but as always they were quiet as mice when they left the ground. A few chants in the safety of their own fans walking to the buses, but that was it.
A point lost, but still unbeaten at home, and a winnable game at Wednesday next Saturday.
Enjoyable afternoon thanks to the Millwall fans.

We all did. Football and atmosphere go hand in hand. The game was shit in parts, the atmosphere wasn't.

RoyalBlue Well that was extremely poor and shows what happens when Guthrie doesn't perform/a team prevents him from performing (although I don't agree with IR view that he was lazy - I thought he worked hard throughout). Too often we reverted to the long ball - it's clearly going to take Adkins a long time to stop the players automatically regressing to that approach when things aren't going well.
And before the Federici lynchmob string him up, it was a mistake by him that cost us today, it was the miss from ALF. 2-0 up and the team would have relaxed a bit more and would probably have reverted to the decent football that has been winning them games. Even had Feds then made a 'mistake' we would have had the cushion of another goal. As it was, he still made a couple of very decent saves (and yes, I know that's his job) to keep us in the game until injury time.
Oh, and whilst IR thinks we should have had a penalty for a hold on Morrison we definitely should have had one for the handball just prior to the shot from Pearce that was really well saved by their keeper.

Ian Royal Well that was shit and so were we. We still should have won comfortably though. Adkins takes the blame for me. We were getting out numbered in midfield all game and they were passing rings round us. At leazt they had zero goal threat for most of the game.
Federici 7 don't see much fault with him. He had to go for it and it looked offside anyway
Gunter 5 poor paszing and didnt get tight time and again
Bridge 6 decent
Pearce 5 sloppy although nearly scored
Morro 6 Sloppy but improved in the last 5 all our defenders and midfielders needed to do more to find a reading shirt with clearances or find touch.
Guthrie 5 worst performance I've seen this season far too lazy in the pass and overrun.
Baird 5 similalrly poor
Obita 5 ok but needs to produce better end product and do more defensively
McCleary 5 same tried to do too much sometimes
Alf 5 should have scored but not in the game enough.
Pog 7 tireless but nothing came off.
Can't be arsed to rate the subs. McAnuff steadied the ship when we were under pressure and we should have won the game when we took back control. Couldn't see HRK well from my end. Kelly barely on.
Adkins 4
Ref 4 gave them evdry minor touch and us very little, yet still had to send one of them off. Can't see how that was a cnr at the end and we should have had a pen first half for holding on morro at a cnr.
Millwall fans really ought to be in cages.

I didn't say Guthrie was lazy. I said his passing was lazy. There's a difference.
