Big Foot Brilliant performance from United yesterday - Welbeck full of confidence looked like the kind of striker you'd want on the plane to Brazil next Summer.

Agreed. Good performance by United. And they didn't celebrate like they had won the league either.

It would have been very odd to celebrate as if they had won the league when it lifted them to 8th place.

Schards#2 Just to put King of Sting's mind at rest, I like a gamble and over a year will bet a few thousand on a whole varierty of sporting bets, some will win, most will lose and I'll probably end up about even. If they all won, it wouldn't change my life and if they all lost it wouldn't kill me, it's just a bit of fun and gives me an interest.
Clearly, in a perfect world, it's better to have bet on something at 33/1 as opposed to 12/1 but we don't all have a crystal ball.
The change from 12 to 33 was over last weekend when United lost one point to Arsenal and City and none to Chelsea. If you feel, as I do, that the winner will come from these four, that seem a huge overreaction and I still feel 33/1 is an excellent price.
Just to make it clear K-O-S you don't back something at 33/1, or even 12/1 expecting to win, you just think it's overpriced and, therefore, value. As others have stated, with Betfair, if they find some form and the odds do go down, I'd have the option of trading out at a profit too.

King of Stingjd82 KOS - Are you being deliberately stupid or do you really not understand what is going on.
I am not stupid at all. I just like laughing at people who waste money on bets that have no chance of winning.

As per the previous post, I'm now in a position where I can trade out at a profit if I choose to.
Who'd have thought it, eh?
