Except that the above shows that Newcastle and Arsenal definitely didn't have better results in December than Man Utd. And the managers of the other three clubs were nominated too.

So what's the problem here?

He asked which managers had a better December

Anyway Utd lost 2 and only beat the shit teams (Villa, West Ham, Hull & Norwich) - at least Arsenal only lost 1 and drew 2 against fellow top 4 side (at the time). Newcastle beat Utd.

Or are you saying it only goes on how many points they earn not the standard of opposition.

Plus Utd played a game more than the others

So why have nominations if it just goes on points? Your logic means Pellegrini has won it

Is this the first time you've seen the manager if the month award?

LoyalRoyalFan See a flare was thrown into the Sunderland end

Probably landed amongst the swathes of empty seats anyway, so no harm done. Sunderland fans always drone on about being a 'big club' but they couldn't even come close to selling out a home semi-final :!:

yep, same as the Geordies. You can bet if either ever do reach a cup final again we'll get endless nauseating journos fapping over how 'special' the fans are whilst forgetting the 3rd and 4th round games against the likes of Stoke and Norwich were played in front of 20K.

tbf i don't actually know the in's and out's. I just presumed it was for managers who did something good with the team in the month (you know like when Brian won it last January)

Robbie Savage on Lindegaard

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ll-3006263

All of these players are good enough for the Premier League – but not, in my opinion, for Manchester United:

Lindegaard Is there any such thing as a content understudy?

There were question marks at first about David De Gea but he has matured into a fantastic Premier League goalkeeper. Understudy Anders Lindegaard is a good back-up. Both should stay.

Utd played a game more, but they had a better points-per-game ratio than Arsenal and Newcastle.

I'm sure it isn't as simple as awarding it to the manager who got the highest PPG, or there wouldn't be much point in nominating 4 of them.

I would say a nomination for Pardew would be reasonable given their stature relative to the Man Utd, but one for Wenger would have been a bit odd especially considering they shipped 6 at City.

Anyway, it will be either Pelligrini or Martinez, I'd imagine. It would be pretty lulzworthy if Moyes did win it, but as the holder of the 4th best record in December it's hardly that bizarre that he's one of the 4 nominees.

Looks as if Baines is staying at Everton, becoming the next person in a long line to piss on Moyes' bonfire.

As things currently stand, that's akin to ruling himself out of international football.

FIFA approved Kosovo earlier this week to start playing friendlies against FIFA member countries which is the first step towards getting full membership. Guess it just depends how long that takes really.

Oh dear, oh dear, something like a 30 point turnaround with Chelsea since last season.
Presumably Kes wanted a draw today with his 2 teams playing each other.
Roy Hodgson must have cringed watching 4 of his England squad (5 if you include diver Young) doing zilch in a game that was so important for their club.

jd82 KOS - Are you being deliberately stupid or do you really not understand what is going on.

I am not stupid at all. I just like laughing at people who waste money on bets that have no chance of winning.

As per the previous post, I'm now in a position where I can trade out at a profit if I choose to.

Who'd have thought it, eh?

Well I hope for your sake you did cash out Schards, but I suspect you did not. Just the 14 pts off the top now and available at 100/1. Who'd have thought it eh ?
