TBM He asked which managers had a better December
Anyway Utd lost 2 and only beat the shit teams (Villa, West Ham, Hull & Norwich) - at least Arsenal only lost 1 and drew 2 against fellow top 4 side (at the time). Newcastle beat Utd.
Or are you saying it only goes on how many points they earn not the standard of opposition.
Plus Utd played a game more than the others
Utd played a game more, but they had a better points-per-game ratio than Arsenal and Newcastle.
I'm sure it isn't as simple as awarding it to the manager who got the highest PPG, or there wouldn't be much point in nominating 4 of them.
I would say a nomination for Pardew would be reasonable given their stature relative to the Man Utd, but one for Wenger would have been a bit odd especially considering they shipped 6 at City.
Anyway, it will be either Pelligrini or Martinez, I'd imagine. It would be pretty lulzworthy if Moyes did win it, but as the holder of the 4th best record in December it's hardly that bizarre that he's one of the 4 nominees.
