I don't watch much of it but, stating the obvious really I suppose, this season's PL is shaping up to be the most exciting ever. So open for top place, 4th place, UEFA place and relegation places.

I very much like the way Timmy Sherwood sets up his team. No fear. Thought he was a bit of a tool initially bit has very much grown on me.

Reminded me of the Doctor Who bird.

BBC Sport Tottenham Hotspur hit by attempted transfer fraud

Tottenham have been the victims of an attempted fraud after a Croatian middleman forged a signature to try to sell them a Dutch striker.
The fraudster contacted Spurs claiming FC Twente had authorised him to sell Holland Under-21 player Luc Castaignos.
The Croatian gave Tottenham a document supposedly signed by Twente's chairman but when they contacted the Dutch club, they discovered it was forged.
"A player has been offered with this forged document," FC Twente confirmed.
"The forgery has been made known to the KNVB (Dutch Football Federation), with the request to pass it on to Uefa and Fifa and take the appropriate measures."
Gert-Jan Nijweide, FC Twente's finance director, said: "We have recently been informed of this scam from England.
"We have sent a letter to the persons who have used the false document, ordering them to stop immediately."

I particularly enjoyed the idea of a letter having been sent.

Was good. Nearly as good as Begovic saving that Luiz free kick v Chelsea in the FA Cup last weekend.

They have spent all season playing pub teams in the Europa league. They come up against someone half decent and fail miserably.
The look on Levys face was priceless :D

Hopefully the Gooners will stick 5 or 6 past them this weekend to really rub salt into the wounds

The calamity of their transfer dealings this season is up there with Liverpool and Downing, Carroll etc.

Sold Bale for squillions, invested it in half a first-team side, and got worse.

That said, I feel for Sherwood, by all accounts a decent guy and a good coach, he's been saddled with AVB's 300 midfielders and a squad low on morale.

Sherwood isn't a Premier League manager, he's a good assistant but he just doesn't have the knowledge to take a team like Spurs forward.

I wonder how many of the signings were AVB's though, and not Levy

Agree, spent a fair bit and do look like they should have a good side. Whenever I've seen Spurs this season though, they look far too predictable to be thinking of unsettling the best teams which must be hugely disappointing.
