How depressing watching one of England's main strikers lashing the ball over the bar in the penalty shoot-out.
That plus Carrick, Jones and Smalling all looking moderate against one of the worst teams in the Premier league is just as depressing from an England perspective.

Interesting how the media is generally absolving Moyes of any blame for the massive demise of last year's champions who retained all of those winning players plus adding another for around £27 million-in the space of half a season the slide has been sensational.

m8, i just recently googled 'list of england midfielders' - i advise you not to do it as it'll make you cry (esp if you decide to have a look at defenders and strikers)

I know you keep an eye on the Arsenal....have Oxlaide Chamberlain and Wilshere ever played together in the midfield? Other than Ross Barkley (sp?) i really don't
know who else you'd have in there. Stevie G is a liability, Frank is on the decline, Carrick has been really poor, Jones is a centre back, cLOLeverLOLy....it's been

do with working on his distribution but is a beast of a centre back

I really don't think there is a huge difference in Wellbeck and Sturridge which is a bit of a concern. Different type of player so hard to compare. I'd have Sturridge
starting but he's not exactly world class

Smalling doesn't look like a Premier League centre-back (see his 'defending' in the Swansea defeat) nevermind an England one. Welbeck isn't in Sturridge's class, as a forward, at all.
