Lewandowski will miss the first leg of Dortmund's QF after picking up a yellow card last night.

The Spanish teams would probably like to avoid each other, haven't seen much of Athletico Madrid but they're presumably slightly more preferable to the other two if Utd or Chelsea were to draw one of them. Though I did notice neither Barca or Real Madrid have beaten them in La Liga so far this season.

PSG & Bayern Munich have made light work of it so far but certainly aren't unbeatable. Can't see Utd threatening anyone to win it but Chelsea must have a reasonable chance if things fall kindly.

Now we're down to the best 8 teams in Europe, I honestly believe Bayern will be the first team to retain the Cup under the new format.

Or Dortmund. They have been very inconsistent this season. 7 defeats (4 at home) in 25 Bundesliga games, and 2 defeats at home (in four games) in the CL, their chances of reaching the final again have been all but written off in the German press.

Not so sure about Chelsea tbh. Mourinho is an expert at getting the best out of limited players like those at Chelsea. It's why he failed at Madrid, especially on the CL stage, because he's not so good at doing the same with top players.

The seeding hardly makes it a fair fight though, does it?

United are nowhere near one of the best 8 teams in Europe. They are not certain of finishing in the top 8 in England
By your logic they wont even be in the top 32 in Europe next season because they wont be in the champions league.

Unlucky with injuries (Hummels, Blaszczykowski, Subotic, Reus etc) but agreed

Real Madrid - PSG
United - Barca
Bayern - Athletico
Dortmund - Chelsea

I think I would like to see Real Madrid play over here so them against Utd or Chelsea would be good.

Aside from that I would just like to see teams from the same country avoid each other in this draw as I feel it just takes a little away from the excitement of it.

I think if I could choose I would have:

Man Utd Vs Real Madrid
Chelsea Vs Bayern Munich
Atletico Vs PSG
Dortmund Vs Barcelona

This draw then also saves Bayern Vs Barcelona and PSG Vs real Madrid for the semi's which I think would be pretty skillz

Disagree - would rather teams from the same country knocked each other out now, so we're left with different countries in the semi finals/final
