Leeds United are in talks with former Arsenal, Manchester City and Reading goalkeeper Stuart Taylor, according to the Daily Mail.


The 33-year-old keeper was released from the Royals at the end of the season, meaning the experienced shot-stopper is in search of a new club.

Leeds are in talks to bring in the goalkeeper and he is expected to join, with Paddy Kenny told he is free to leave the Yorkshire club this summer.

Taylor has made 72 appearances during his career, and would provide Dave Hockaday’s Leeds side much-needed experience in goal.

Leeds are also closing in on deals for Andre Blackman and Giuseppe Bellusci, as reported on Football League World yesterday
