floyd__streete Handbags Harris attended and texted me to say that we were absolutely woeful.
I've not even heard of half the people who played, who the hell is the bloke who scored

To be fair, I was watching through a complete cider-befuddled haze in the wrong end being heavily influenced by the local populace. We were ok first half, no better no worse, dictated the match and were fair game for the lead. Second half Exeter changed their shape and, like us, complete personnel and cut through us on many occasions. Pearce, Kelly and Andersen ensured a clean sheet was kept but their finishing was poor. They created glorious opportunities to notch on more than one occasion, one incident where they got three shots in at close range in quick succession, hit the bar, cleared of the line then saved. One thing we can take from the game - our squad is desperately threadbare. Of the youngsters, Kuhl stood out although he's not difficult to miss. Stacey looked decent when on the ball but otherwise a bit powderpuff. Senior players, well only Pogrebnyak stood out really for just going through the motions. He won a good flick on for the goal but that was it really, nothing more of note to report.
