Odd video in some ways. Saves a lot with his helps, but seems to put almost all his saves back into the six yard box
meaning the opposition often gets a second bite at the cherry.

Be more interesting to see what his overall shots-saved to goals ratio is, how often
he keeps a clean sheet.

could be "fun" with him in goal, though

Look at it this way; we sign him on the cheap, Feds sees out the end of the season and moves on in the summer, until then this Polish bloke has the second half of the season and the summer to be training with our (extremely proven) goalkeeping coaches. He obviously has talent or he wouldn't of had a call up and been playing at the younger international levels, maybe he's just still a bit raw.

Good point.

Much as I love Feds I think we can get better VFM
and get back inside FFP

I thought that he showed pretty strong hands and parried a lot of the shots away from danger, and when he didn't, he was quick to get back on his feet ready for the second shot.

As I said in my first post, the video doesn't show how he handles the bread and butter aspects of goalkeeping but, he's only 23 and whilst he's no De Gea or Hart, there's definitely promise.

Interesting that the club he played for in Poland have in recent years been 2nd tier makeweights but have established themselves as a half decent top flight team with European experience courtesy of a cup win.

According to Soccerbase, 11 clean sheets in 48 appearances over 4 seasons. More worryingly, sent off 3 times.

Basingstoke Royal Good shot stopper but needs to learn how to keep hold of the ball.

Based on that video, Basingstoke Royal is right. He can block and parry okay, but needs to catch the ball cleanly from time to time too. Not as flashy as Colombian keeper René Higuita (he of the scorpion kick) but perhaps he could be "fun" - just as long as he keeps the ball out of his net.
