Per GetReading:

Out of nowhere Reading lead and it's that man again, Jamie Mackie.

What a goal it was as well, although Brighton keeper David Stockdale won't want to see it again.

His poor clearance went straight to Mackie who controlled it before setting off towards the box, beating a defender and slamming a powerful striker past Stockdale.

1-0 Reading, great goal.

I was one who criticised Mackie but he's been easily our best player in the last 5 weeks. Happy to admit I was wrong and think it's worth looking a a permanent deal in the summer. He shows the heart and fighting spirit that is generally so lacking in the squad.

strap Oh well, what do I know?? I'm just a fan in my 45th year of following the club. SC obviously has a deeply disguised plan that is way above mere fans.

Really hoping we can bag the 3 points to move closer to league safety.Parts crossed for next 45 mins.

Over the last 10 years, the average points total for 22nd place has been 45.9, with the average for 21st being 49.7 - giving some credence to the notion that 50 points will keep a team up. Only twice in the last 10 years has that not been the case - Peterborough United going down in 2013 with a massive 54 points while Gillingham were relegated in 2005 on goal difference with 50.

Brighton are utter bobbins. Worst ive seen this season. Including us.

We look alright. Chalobah good at LB. Akpan having a good game. Blackman dangerous. Hal looks leaden though.
