Hopefully Clarke will now give some youngsters a few games to see out the season. Then the clear-out begins.

Time to tie up a few contracts too. Pearce, Karacan, Feds...

Agreed, but let's hope the club has sharpened up their negotiation skills. Pearce, yes keep, but only at the right price. He can be a solid Championship defender, but he's demonstrated over the last 18 months that he's not more than that. Let's make sure we pay him as such (rumours suggest he's one of the big earners at the club). If he wants to stay on big money, let him find it somewhere else.

unless we want another season in transition its important we keep the better players, of which pearce is undoubtedly one,

obvs we cant pay more than we can afford. but basing any decision on how pearce or anyone else performed under adkins is daft.imo

If it has then there is a pretty good lookalike at the training ground.

Probably not the right thread as this no longer applies to us, but Rotherham have been handed the points deduction.

Part of me wants to throw the Rotherham game, would rather see Wigan and Millwall relegated.

How dare you question the integrity of our players? They are more than capable of losing this match without any financial incentive.....
