Jackson Corner Can't blame him for wanting to join a bigger club.

poohs pure That's five soft goals heading boremuffs way next season then. Think Jeff should have given me a quick call first.

MmmMonsterMunch Good luck Feds. Not that upset about it though TBH - a nice chunk off the wage bill.

RoyalBlue Another poor decision (driven by an unwillingness to invest sensibly) by the Board & Hapless Hammond who are now joined by Clueless Clarke. We now have no senior goalkeepers under contract and have sacked an excellent, well proven and highly thought of (by two managers who took us to the PL) goalkeeping coach.
The one area where we didn't have any problems last season and tinkerman Clarke decides it should be his priority to destroy it. Well at least he's ensured that we now have a level playing field with weaknesses in every position. At the moment he looks set to continue the downward trend that he so effectively accelerated last season.
And to those who suggest we are going to see a massive rebuilding - that requires investment, which is not going to happen whilst Madejski continues to persuade owners that sustained success can be achieved on the cheap.MmmMonsterMunch Good luck Feds. The investment in those wages last season was one of the key things that saved us from relegation. What's more, there is little prospect of those savings being reinvested in the squad.

Don't agree - will be second choice and likely be second choice back in championship 12 months like McCarthy

AthleticoSpizz You could possibly be right Hoops
However, he has been around the club long enough to have seen what has been, to have seen what is, and to see what is to come.
He has raised his shares within the footballing community immensely in the past four or five years.
Time to wish him well and to quietly remember
